Hannah Hyland:

Board Member

From a young age, Hannah has had a passion for animals. She was fortunate enough to grow up with quite a menagerie of pets; from dogs to guinea pigs to birds and everything in between. Hannah always aspired to help animals and dreamed about becoming a veterinarian. She fulfilled her dream in 2019 when she graduated from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. She currently works as a veterinarian in Hamilton.

Hannah rescued her first animal in 2013; a rabbit named Russell. Russell and his bunny brother, Winslow, moved with Hannah to the Caribbean and then to Dublin, Ireland for her clinical year. It was in Dublin where Hannah and her boyfriend, Ryan, rescued their husky cross, Timber, who was brought to the veterinary clinic she was working at to be euthanized. Watching both Timber and Russell go from terrified, abandoned animals to the sweetest, happiest pets has given Hannah so much joy. She is excited to be a part of an organization that helps other animals find their loving, forever homes.

Lindsay Collette:

Board Member

Lindsay is a director of capital markets by day and SPR’s Team Manager by night. Lindsay has a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in finance from Wilfrid Laurier University. She is so thrilled to be involved with SPR as she’s always been interested in rescue and, of course, LOVES animals. She especially loves cats, having two of her own; Gucci and Louis.

Natasha Gisondi:

Board Member

Natasha has been involved in rescue for several years and has fostered 20+ dogs! She has spent many years volunteering but one of her most memorable moments was in the Bahamas at a shelter after Hurricane Dorian hit, as that is when she met her pup Robert now named Winston. Little did Natasha and her partner Adrian know their 12th pup would be their foster fail and most challenging pup yet! Natasha also has grown up with animals her whole life from bully breeds dogs to cats, birds, hamsters, reptiles you name it her family probably had it!

Natasha has a Post Graduate in Business Management, Marketing from Sheridan College. With a very diverse background in sales & event management, to working at multiple startups and a background in fundraising for multiple NGO campaigns, her passion for animals and vast experience lead her to create her own animal welfare, not for profit with partner Briana MacLeod.

As a Founding Partner of Sea Paws Rescue, Natasha runs the marketing, fundraising and events. She is also very hands-on with all SPR intakes, vetting and foster/adoption management. Her overall vision is to help end animal homelessness and that all #sprfurever animals are healthy & happy in their furever homes!

Sabrina Coelho:

Director of Adoptions

Sabrina has been involved in the dog rescue community in Toronto for 5 years when she and her husband Andrew “foster failed’ their dog Reggie. She currently lives with Andrew and Reggie in Toronto and spends as many weekends up north at the family cottage as she can.

Sabrina has a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology and Writing from Western University as well as a Diploma in Baking and Pastry Arts Management from George Brown College. She is currently a Marketing Manager in the Hospitality Industry and also runs a home baking business called Honeydoll Bakehouse.

As an adoption coordinator, Sabrina is looking to bring positive energy and organization skills so she can find the best home for our rescue pups.
